About David
For David Roger Grossmann, the best real estate professionals are those who go beyond simply locating property for clients. “I am a lifestyle expeditor,” he says. “Whether it’s a residence, a place of business or an investment, selecting real estate is a big decision which ultimately affects people’s lifestyle both personally and financially.”

Specializing in all facets of residential and commercial real estate, David understands the mechanics of a deal and streamlines the real estate process for buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, investors and business owners. Relying on his commitment to honesty, accountability and outstanding service, he is a dedicated representative for his clients who has consistently been able to deliver results for clients in every market climate. David also believes that detailed financial research and diverse experience are key to maintaining exceptional market knowledge. He has a proven track record in the sales and rental of lofts, co-ops, condos and new developments in downtown Manhattan, as well as expertise in emerging markets such as the waterfront markets of Queens and Brooklyn. A visionary real estate professional, David opened and managed the first Long Island City office for Manhattan based brokerage in 2007. He currently resides there and is an active member of it's burgeoning community.

Originally from Northern Virginia, David earned a Master’s degree in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University. With an undergraduate degree in Spanish and time spent studying in both Paraguay and Spain, he is fluent in both English and Spanish. His previous career as a curator of museum and art gallery exhibitions has also benefited his real estate experience, allowing him to identify and convey the subtle beauty of the city's diverse and unique properties.

As a musician, David spends much of his spare time playing various stringed instruments in several music genres including Bluegrass, Early Jazz and Texas Swing. David is also on the Board of Directors of Terreform ONE (Open Network Ecology), the official non-profit design group committed to promoting green design in U.S. cities.
