Darnell Roberts

The only child of Benjamin (Benny) Roberts and Darnette Mallory, a curious kid from humble beginnings with a penchant for writing and storytelling, he became an avid sports fan at an early age. He graduated from Niagara University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Media Studies. Originally from NY, the former financial advisor turned realtor has made Miami his home since 2014.

Former Stockbroker and Investment Advisor with American Express Financial Advisors, The MONY Group and Morgan Stanley. 

He got his start as a Licensed Sales Representative at Morgan Stanley and was assigned to their office on the 68th Floor of Tower 1 of the World Trade Center.

While at The MONY Group (now AXA Advisors), he was privileged to work in the MONY Sports Division in their Midtown Manhattan Headquarters with two former NFL Players. Founded by NY Giant great Harry Carson, his team worked with numerous NFL Players allowing Darnell to attend his first NFL Rookie Symposium with the Buffalo Bills. 

Experience in Property Management at Armani Casa Residences, a 308 Unit Luxury Condominium in Sunny Isles, collaboration with Dezer Development and The Related Group.

Cohort of the Inaugural class of The University Of Miami Community Scholars in Housing Program, in conjunction with The South Florida
Community Development Coalition and the University Of Miami Business School. 

Cohort of the 4th installment of Leadership Lab, a 5 month Leadership Development Program for Neighbor Heroes created by Radical Partners, a Social Impact Accelerator in South Florida. They invest in BIPOC leaders by providing one on one coaching, bringing innovative solutions taught by industry experts to build coalitions that strengthen communities.

Darnell's business is built on 3 P's... Persistence, Preparation and Professionalism. 

He has leveraged his relationships from his Wall Street experience and the investment world to become a well rounded resource for all things real estate, including off market deals, international properties and exclusive listings. He has also become a go-to negotiator for short term and vacation rentals in South Beach. 

He is also a Regional Lead for BLK at Compass, an affinity group for over 1,000 black and brown real estate professionals.
