Currently I am on The Massey Alliance Board where we focus on raising funds and awareness for cancer research at VCU Massey Cancer center.

I also work with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond providing meals every 4th Saturday to the families staying in the hospital.

Last year I was honored to be a sponsor for both the Rich Sharp Alzheimer's Foundation and The Children's Hope Gala with Bon Secours. 

I have and will continue to be a sponsor and supporter of Richmond Shakes, an organization that keeps local theater alive through its bold approach to contemporary and classical shows with Shakespeare at it core.

Through my work with Cyclebar RVA we are able to fundraise on a regular basis. Past fundraisers have included: Side by Side, The American Heart Association and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
About Danny

Hello, my name is Danny Welsch! I am a local realtor in Richmond, VA and am proud to call this city my home for over 30 years. I grew up in Henrico’s West End where I attended The Steward School before heading down into the city proper to study at Virginia Commonwealth University. I’ve seen the suburbs of Richmond expand outward, Short Pump transform from a two-lane highway into a thriving community, and much more. As a longtime resident of Richmond, I have a deep understanding of our community and its values giving me a wealth of knowledge about the local real estate market. My clients benefit from my time here with informed guidance and expertise in navigating the Richmond market. My goal is to make the home buying or selling process as smooth and stress-free as possible. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, I am alongside you every step of the way.

Since the first quarter of my career in real estate, I’ve been a top-producing agent in Central Virginia which has continued to thrive since joining Compass in the Fall of 2023. As of this Spring, I am in the Top 1% of all agents in Central Virginia based on closed sales volume for the 2024 year. This is a testament to my rigor and determination. Outside of work, my husband Andy and I are the proud parents of two dachshunds - Ru Paw and Dolly Pawton. When we’re not catering to their needs, we spend our days remodeling our home in Manakin Sabot and spending time with family and friends. We’re both game enthusiasts and host game nights pretty frequently. Andy is Certified Interior Designer working at one of Richmond’s premier design firms, smbw. Many of my clients benefit from his design expertise. He is always more than willing to assist my clients whether it be advising ways to stage their house for photos or suggesting layouts for a room in their new home.

I strongly believe in giving back to our community. As a former private chef, I use those skills to prepare and deliver food once a month for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. I also serve on the VCU Massey Cancer Center Alliance Board where we continually work on raising money by organizing auctions, galas, and other fundraisers to help find a cure for cancer. Alongside charity work, I am also a strong supporter and advocate of the local arts. For the past three years, I’ve been a stage sponsor for Richmond’s local Shakespeare company, ā€œThe Richmond Shakes.ā€ This spring, I was honored as the recipient of the 2024 Steward School Alumni Achievement Award for my commitment and charitable contributions to the community.
