Dana Rice Group's growth in the Washington, D.C. market has been swift and significant. In just five years, Dana and her group of top agents grew to #1 Small team in Maryland (RealTrends rankings in Wall Street Journal). With more than  $650M in lifetime sales since obtaining a license in 2013, Dana earned a spot in the top 1% of residential real estate globally. In 2016, Dana launched and carefully curated her award winning team by focusing on how to best serve clients - meaning DRG's five full-time agents, two junior agents, marketing director, operations director, and a dedicated stager / project manager exclusive to Dana Rice Group, are 100% dedicated to making the process a win-win for all.

In 2022, Dana Rice Group closed more than $158M in transactions, serving more than 118 buyers and sellers.

Initially a real estate investor, Dana bought, renovated, and sold a number of properties for her own account. With the decision to make real estate a full-time profession, Dana formed the Dana Rice Group, affiliated with Compass in Washington, D.C. where she is Executive Vice President, and has been named one of Washington top producers since the inception of her business.

Although Dana and her group represent buyers and sellers in the wider Metro Washington, D.C. area, her key focus is the neighborhoods of Northwest Washington, D.C., and surrounding areas of Montgomery County, Maryland. Her 25+ years of marketing, advertising, and negotiating skills, plus knowledge of the ins and outs of living in the DC Metro area, translates into helping buyers and sellers make the best, most informed decisions about real estate.

Dana has been named as one of Washingtonian's 'Top 100 ' in DC, Best of Washington, 2015-2023; Bethesda Magazine's "Best of" Top Teams; #1 team in year-over-year growth and Top Ten Producer Awards. Dana holds a B.S. Journalism from the University of Maryland where she graduated with cum laude and was selected as the graduation commencement speaker.
