"I met Dan Hunnicutt at an open house in and he was very understanding of the Palo Alto market and full knowledge of the $ 7 million home he was holding open. Dan stayed in touch with me and kept me informed of the market in Los Altos and Palo Alto over the next 3 years. Dan helped to see and understand over 25 homes. I would stay in the homes for up to 2 hours if it was a home I liked. Dan never complained or rushed me. He was very patient and helped to understand everything about the home. I really appreciated this about Dan. Dan also was never pushy to buy any of the homes he showed me. His patients and understanding of my concerns are genuine and sincere. "We are extremely lucky to have worked with Dan Hunnicutt when we bought our home - Dan provided an amazingly smooth process for us first-time home buyers, and guided us into our home in less than 2 months (which is unbelievably fast for the ultra-competitive Bay Area real estate market). Dan's work stands out on several dimensions: (1) guiding us to help us identify our must-haves (several weekends looking at homes in different neighborhoods, homes with different features, etc). After 2 weekends, Dan knew our preferences very well and helped us think through various tradeoffs and our budget as we looked at subsequent listings. Further, Dan's familiarity with renovations/construction helped us plan out some light renovations that eliminated the tradeoffs in our eventual home ("this thing will cost $x to change, you could also do this a different way and that will cost $y"). Dan's guidance was invaluable. We were hedging on an offer price, and he recommended we revise our offer. His suggestion literally made it a winning offer. While many of our friends took years to buy a home in the Bay Area market, Dan got our offer accepted for our beautiful home in 2 months from the first time we met him.
