I’ve been a member of the Teresa Fuller Team since early 2020, having pivoted from entertainment when lockdown came to town. My prior career in entertainment and advertising production spanned 20+ years and honed my skills as a producer, managing projects in the millions of dollars and teams of 100+ people. Working in Real Estate was a revelation - I can use all of my skills AND help people? We met Cori Cooperider through our work with the Teresa Fuller team and are so grateful for her help in finding us the next right place to live. We were leaving our home of over 30 years in the “wild” area of Altadena to move to a condo in Pasadena. We decided it was time to leave the yard work and maintenance to someone else. We gave Cori a difficult charge—find us a ground floor condo with some outdoor space and in an area surrounded by greenery. There was little available. We found one place early on, but there was a bidding war and we were wary of continuing escalating the price and dropped out. She kept looking for places that would meet our specific needs and while we looked at a few things, nothing was really right. We were getting discouraged, but not Cori. She continued to look for places that might meet our needs and after several weeks, a condo on Orange Grove came on the market. We made several visits and decided that this met our criteria and could be our next home—it needed some upgrades, but we thought it could be perfect. She looked at all the comps and helped us come up with a reasonable bid and submitted it. There were several offers; unfortunately, we were outbid and very discouraged. We followed her advice to make a back up offer, thinking there was nothing to lose, but not very optimistic. A week later, Cori called to tell us that the other buyer had withdrawn their offer and it was ours if we wanted. Had she not suggested a back up offer we would have lost the chance to own our new home. We were thrilled and began the process of escrow. Cori was there at each step—she arranged financing with a bridge loan since our home hadn’t sold yet and helped navigate each step of the process until we closed. She was there after closing for any questions that came up and even followed up to let us know that the lien had been lifted when we paid off the loan. Her vast knowledge of the real estate market, the ins and outs of financing, and her cheerful optimistic attitude made her the perfect agent for us. We will always be grateful for Cori’s help in finding us our next home.
