"Colleen was coming to me for personal fitness training. During our sessions we were able to talk about her work. I was consistently impressed by how passionate she is about the art of helping her clients find properties that would best suit their whole lifestyle. She seems less a 'salesperson' and more like a matchmaker.
Every time someone I care about is looking for property, I recommend Colleen McFerrin." - Margo
About Colleen
Just a few moments with Colleen and you immediately feel at ease. Her energy and enthusiasm are uplifting. She really likes people and it shows.
The old adage of, “find something that you love to do and make that your career”, is well suited for Colleen. She turned her many years of buying and investing in her own real estate portfolio into a real estate career that she loves and enjoys. Prior to becoming a full-time Realtor® over 11 years ago, Colleen worked as the IT Help Desk Manager and then IT Purchasing Manager at a large international retailer. The same traits that made her successful in the corporate environment, thoroughness, organization, eye for detail and a dedication to individualized customer service translated well to the real estate world and provided her the tools she needed to help her clients negotiate the often daunting real estate maze.
Because a home is such a very personal thing, Colleen’s approach is to identify and focus on what’s important to you, so that she can find just the right solution for you. So whether you’re buying or selling a home, are a first-time buyer, or already have experience in the housing market, Colleen will work hard for you to make sure your home buying or selling experience is a positive one and you get what you want.
In her spare time, Colleen enjoys music, poetry, writing, and loves to travel, is an avid gardener, loves hiking and being out in nature, and has a special interest in the protection and restoration of our shorelines.
Colleen is a California native, grew up just across The Bay in Marin County, and lives in the Marina District of San Francisco where she enjoys beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay.
