About Cody
Cody Bradstreet has roots in Austin that go forty-ish years, yet her inner-nomad has lived in almost every neighborhood from Round Rock to Circle C, spending most of the time in Central Austin and Westlake Hills. An Austinite through-and-through, she has seen the city evolve from a quirky college town to a bustling metropolis. Recently, Cody embraced her inner-country girl and moved to Wimberley. She specializes in helping buyers, sellers, and investors in South Austin, Westlake, and Lakeway, and the growing areas of Dripping Springs, Spicewood, and Wimberley. For clients who also aspire to country living, her expertise with the charm and uniqueness of Hill Country is a significant advantage. In essence, Cody can speak "City" and "Hill Country" fluently for the most discerning clients.
Before obtaining her real estate license, Cody's career spanned various professions, from an accountant with Ernst & Young LLP and then transitioned into corporate finance before working with Dell as a process/program manager, international business analyst and solutions sales executive. Cody also prospered as a local entrepreneur, having a thriving local business for over six years. She loves being in the business of people. Her entire career has orbited around building relationships and delivering -touch customer service in often vulnerable situations that take a great deal of discretion.
Across her corporate career, Cody amassed a cadre of skills that make her an agile and diligent real estate professional. She is a natural analyst and shrewd negotiator, possessing the unique ability to handle all of the details while keeping your big picture front-and-center. A self-professed "recovering CPA," Cody is a pricing specialist who loves to dig into the numbers and find the sweet spot. Her biggest compliment is when all sides of a transaction come away happy and heard. Cody thrives when tackling complex transactions for her clients, from first-time homebuyers to busy families looking to improve the function of their lives. She understands that buying or selling a home can be intense, serious, and emotional. Therefore, she approaches every transaction with a healthy dose of humor. Cody relishes being able to turn the accountant stereotype on its head. Her clients appreciate the care, laughter, and creativity she brings to the process.
Cody's Hill Country life includes her husband, Joe, and her youngest daughter. Having three grown children out of the house, Cody has since adopted a menagerie of fur kids. One of her favorite things about country living is being able to roam with her dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, and pigs. A goat named Butterbean was included "free with-purchase" with the donkeys and thinks he's a human. It is no surprise that he has since ingratiated himself into her extended family.
Cody loves helping people as they plant roots and enjoys watching them flourish. Whether you are in the market for the first time or are an experienced buyer or seller, she prides herself on treating every client with luxury service.
