About Coby
Coby believes that finding an incredible home can change one's life. This ethos has allowed him to utilize his experience on Wall Street and in the design world to assist people in finding the place of their dreams. His perspective on negotiating deals, space and style ensure that all clients and partners get the full service and attention they need while navigating the complex, sophisticated and often deeply personal endeavor of buying or selling a home.
Coby grew up in the Pacific Northwest and was born a devoted Oregon Duck fan. Growing up, Coby was blessed with parents who, while running their art gallery, encouraged Coby to travel and explore the world. Later, at the University of Oregon, Coby was able to parlay his love of travel and sports into a basketball scholarship where he managed the basketball team and built relationships with coaches and players alike. Coby continues to foster his love of sports by coaching youth teams and being an active volunteer in the schools. Coby, his fashion designer/executive wife and their four young children call the city of Manhattan Beach home, a South Bay community known for its unique combination of small town feel and beach-luxe lifestyle. Entertaining, spending time with friends, and outdoor pursuits keep Coby in touch with the sense of joie de vivre that defines this coastal community. Cooking with his son Alexander and testing their culinary creations on the family keep him humble, as for better or for worse, their endeavors may land them a spot on “Worst Cooks…"
Coby holds an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, as well as a B.A. in Political Science (with honors) from the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon. He is also a Fulbright Fellow (Chile 1996-1997).
