After a successful 30-year career in advertising, selling everything from Quaker Oatmeal to McDonald’s hamburgers, Chris is proud to now be selling real estate. Since 2015, he’s used his creativity, marketing savvy, and genuine love of seeing clients happy, to service buyers and sellers all around Chicago.
As an advertising Creative Director, Chris was known for mentoring young people and building strong relationships with the C-Suite. This translates well to helping first-time buyers as well as premier property sellers. Since he has always thrived in big ad agencies like Leo Burnett and DDB, Chris feels right at home with Compass’ in-house marketing and creative studio, comprised of designers, strategists, and producers from acclaimed brands and agencies such as L’Oreal, Conde Nast, WeWork, Twitter, and J Walter Thompson.
Chris is proud to be part of Compass’ Chicagoland team, along with his wife Chris Stockwell who he is happily partnering with as Team Chris & Chris. Her many years of experience in real estate and his background in traditional and digital marketing make them a uniquely well-rounded team.

As an avid runner and marathoner, Chris has literally pounded the pavement in every neighborhood in Chicago. A long-time resident of Lincoln Park, he also knows his way around Lakeview, Wrigleyville, North Center, Roscoe Village, Ravenswood, Lincoln Square, Andersonville, Logan Square, Bucktown, Wicker Park, West Town, West Loop, the Loop and the South Loop.
