About Christopher
A native of Santa Barbara, Chris Gregoire's passion for the real estate industry stems from his life-long exposure to Santa Barbara real estate through his family's involvement in local property management and the mortgage business. A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Chris spent the first several years after college traveling the world, while operating several online businesses. He has lived in Berlin, Los Angeles, and Southeast Asia. He is also a partner in a music production company based in L.A.
Upon his return to Santa Barbara full-time, Chris became affiliated with Sotheby's International Realty, Village Properties and now Compass. He is enjoying his work representing his many friends and clients here in the hectic Santa Barbara real estate market.
Chris is an avid golfer, a recipient of the Santa Barbara Russ Morrison Golf Scholarship, and enjoys actively competing in various local golf tournaments as well as mentoring junior golfers in his spare time. Chris has spent many summers instructing young golfers at the Montecito Country Club Junior Golf Camps.
One of Chris's greatest strengths is his willingness to research properties that are not actively listed for sale; he maintains a large database of local property owners with whom he communicates on a regular basis. His client follow up is systematic and consistent. Chris is thoroughly excited to be working in such a diverse and interesting market and his skill set enables him to identify the perfect property for his clients.
