Cathy Anatra

Cathy is a well-versed real estate professional with over 20 years of experience. As a Long Island native, she has a deep, insightful knowledge of the local markets. Cathy graduated from Hofstra University with an MBA in Marketing and began her real estate career in 2000 when she became a licensed real estate sales agent. As a result of her hard work, negotiating skills, ethics and determination, she quickly became a top producing agent. In 2009 she accepted a position at Astoria Bank where she spent the next several years managing and marketing hundreds of REO /foreclosed properties throughout the country. Cathy later decided to leave banking and return to real estate sales, her true passion. She joined Compass because of their extraordinary technology and fresh approach to real estate. 

Cathy grew up in West Hempstead as a first-generation American born to Greek immigrants and speaks fluent Greek. She raised her two sons in Garden City and recently moved to Cathedral Gardens. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listening to music, decorating, and renovating her home. For Cathy, the thrill of home ownership is that there is always a project to do!
