About Carol
As one of Silicon Valley's most dynamic leaders in residential real estate, Carol Burnett currently leads the Compass Silicon Valley Office (together with Will Klopp and George Montanari) as Managing Broker. With her wealth of industry knowledge, community leadership, and devotion to her sales associates, both her office and her dynamic Compass Silicon Valley team of 250+ agents receive recognition from throughout the United States as one of the leading groups of real estate professionals.
Carol entered real estate management in 1986 following an award-winning career as a sales professional. She has mentored, trained, and guided many of the top real estate professionals in her marketplace, raising the bar in the local real estate community. She not only leads by example but also provides education and leadership to agents in her company and beyond.
An industry icon, Carol's list of awards are many, including President's Award from the Los Gatos/Saratoga Board of Realtors, Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) award by YWCA (presented annually to 40 outstanding Silicon Valley women), and the San Jose Business Journal award acknowledging Carol as one of 50 Outstanding Silicon Valley Women in Business. She's held numerous positions and chaired many committees in Silicon Valley Real Estate organizations, including Secretary/Treasurer of the Silicon Valley Board of Realtors and a long-standing member of the PRDS Standard Forms Committee, to name a few.
Currently, Carol is a member of Saratoga Rotary and the Junior League of San Jose. In years past, she was a member of the Board of KTEH (public television), a member of the Board of the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, and an active member of the Grandview League (a significant fundraising group for cancer).
