After vacationing on Block Island as a child, in 2002 I made it my summer home. Since then I spent most of the year on Block Island, wintering with my family in London, England and my husbands in St. Vincent & the Grenadines. After meeting my husband, Omorow, we spent winters in his home country of tiny islands and summers here. Island life has always drawn me in since a young age, and is all my husband knows. Our son, PJ enjoys summers sailing the GSP and winters at BI school, our recent additions, Ellington and Hendrix love the beach in summer and autumn hikes!
As most people want to know… how did I end up on Block Island? While my family vacationed here, we never had property, just a love for the beautiful beaches and small community. I graduated high school early and quickly moved from a summer position as front desk to manager at the Bellevue House. Spending winters traveling and visiting family and friends abroad, I always came home to Block Island. In 2007, knowing I couldn’t leave the island life, I started a boutique hotel and bed and breakfast management firm, Block Island Accommodations. Since then I have managed a number of properties, bought and sold my own inn’s and am looking forward to utilizing my own hospitality and hotel management skills into the BI Real Estate world on a full time basis.
Over the years I have been very active in Block Island’s tight-knit Community. I served time on the board of the Block Island Chamber of Commerce, was on the Taste of Block Island Committee, the Old Harbor Task Force, the board of the Lions Club and the BIVFD Ladies Auxiliary. In March of 2012 I won the Southern Rhode Island, 40 Under 40 Award, honoring me for my entrepreneurial skills and dedication to the Block Island Community.
I love welcoming new property owners to Block Island, turning clients into long- term friends and helping those new to the island adjust to the ‘island life’. I work hard, have fun, enjoy my family and value my relationships with my clients.
Look forward to seeing you on- island
