The Burke Group at Compass has a combined 20 years of experience beginning with Jared Burke co-founding an independent brokerage based in Hingham. Jacob came aboard to help launch their South End office and they joined Compass in 2019 as team principals. With yearly sales figures regularly topping $10M, The Burke Group treats each transaction as an opportunity, carefully guiding clients through one of the biggest transitions of their lives.

Growing up in Needham, brothers Jared and Jacob Burke have had a front-row seat to the changes in the Greater Boston housing market. Both brothers attended Boston College, went to graduate school in Boston, and lived for years in a few of the city’s vibrant neighborhoods. With seven kids between them, they have each moved to the nearby towns (Needham and Medfield) to raise their families with a little more space. With a strong transaction history in both Boston and the suburbs, Jared and Jacob are keenly aware of the nuances Greater Boston has to offer their clients.

As an attorney and a licensed home improvement contractor, respectively, their backgrounds offer a comprehensive skill set that dovetails with all aspects of real estate. Whether managing a listing’s pre-sale renovations or guiding first-time homebuyers through negotiations, The Burke Group has the flexibility to cater to each client’s needs.

Katrina Giotsas helps complete the team with her transaction management, social media, and pricing analysis skills. As she finishes her Corporate Finance & Accounting degree from Bentley University, Katrina brings an attention to detail and sharp business acumen to the table.
