"We met Brett Holmgren for the first time while searching for a home on the Cape Cod side of the canal. The first house we asked him to meet us at was very misleading with very favorable pictures and the two of us were quite disappointed about what our dollar would buy. I let the agent (Brett) that met us there for the first time, express his view of the property before making a definitive opinion of what we thought ourselves and telling him. He pulled no punches and said that house needed a lot of work and was priced high for what it was. I felt the same and was reassured that we all were on the same page. After that we gave him a more precise picture of what we were looking for with price, size and what our taste tended to run toward. After our first encounter with Brett and his understanding of what we were looking for, we heard often from him about houses in our area that he thought we might consider and like. The market on the Cape and the surrounding South Coast area is currently a "Sellers" market and we spent many hours and more miles investigating his recommendations and leads he referred our way.
