Brandon Nelson

My career in Whatcom County real estate spans over 20 years, and follows a decade as a carpenter and general contractor. In '04 I became a licensed home inspector, logging over 700 inspections before becoming a Realtor in 2006. That progression equipped me with a profound understanding of homes well beyond their curb appeal or market value.

I frequently advise clients on repairs or remodels, offer contractor recommendations, assist in building or analyzing their investment portfolios, or help navigate local policies and regulations. My professional certifications as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and a Certified Probate Specialist reflect my dedication to serving clients through every stage of their lives. My clients know to call me not only during a transaction, but as a lifelong resource.

I'm also committed to serving our local community. I'm a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels, and I serve on the Board of Directors of the Bellingham Senior Activity Center, and Whatcom County Support Officer, which helps those affected by unexpected loss of life, or severe trauma. 

Outside of work, I’m an avid outdoor athlete. My wife Heather, our two teens Hayden and Jazzy, and I fully embrace the the Pacific NW way of life. From competing in the Ski to Sea race, kayaking on our world-class waters, enjoying an open water swim, or hiking our amazing and abundant trails, you'll often find me immersed in the exciting wilderness playgrounds surrounding Bellingham.
