My career in Whatcom County real estate spans over 20 years, though in the preceding decade I worked as a carpenter and general contractor. I then became a licensed home inspector logging over 700 inspections before becoming a Realtor in 2006. That progression equipped me with a profound understanding of homes well beyond their curb appeal or market value.
I frequently advise clients on repairs or remodels, offer contractor recommendations, assist in building or analyzing their investment portfolios, or help navigate local policies and regulations. My professional certifications as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and a Certified Probate Specialist reflect my dedication to serving clients through every stage of their lives. My clients know to call me not only during a transaction, but as a lifelong resource.
I'm also committed to serving our local community. I'm a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels and a server at the Senior Activity Center. I'm also privileged to offer a free moving truck my clients, as well as to non-profits and event organizers. I have enjoyed helping to organize donation-drives for families in need through local programs like the Bellingham Public Schools Family Resource Center.
Outside of work, I’m an avid outdoor athlete. My wife Heather, our two teens Hayden and Jazzy, and I fully embrace the adventurous lifestyle and opportunities to challenge ourselves that Whatcom County offers. From competing in the Ski to Sea race, kayaking on our world-class waters, enjoying an open water swim, or hiking our amazing and abundant trails, you'll often find me immersed in the exciting Pacific NW wilderness playground.
Please connect with me as early in your real estate journey as you would like, and let's explore how we can best work together to get you where you want to be.
