About R. Bradley
With over 40 years of experience in real estate law, Bradley Runyan has built a distinguished career. He began as an abstractor and title examiner for Minnesota Title while attending law school at night. Most recently, he served as principal and managing attorney with Stewart Title Group and the Law Offices of R. Bradley Runyan. Bradley has developed his expertise as a settlement attorney and manager with Sentinel Title and worked with Heritage Title and First American Title in Washington, DC.
Bradley’s deep understanding of title insurance is rooted in his experience managing title insurance litigation as a senior associate with Conroy, Ballman & Dameron. Before this, he handled underwriting and claims on a national scale and throughout the mid-Atlantic region. He also served as assistant regional counsel for Chicago Title in Baltimore, MD, and Fairfax, VA. His career began with a sole practitioner in Minneapolis, focusing on real estate and title insurance matters.
Bradley is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and Massachusetts. A native of Minnesota, he holds degrees from the William Mitchell College of Law and Macalester College in St. Paul. Introduced to Cape Cod by his partner Steve Nelson in 1998, they eventually purchased a home there in 2004 and were married at the Dennis Inn in 2006. They now split their time between Dennis and the DC metro area, sharing their home with a labrador retriever and a chihuahua.
