"My wife and I live in New York City. Seven years ago, my wife inherited a small property in Gilroy, California from her mother’s estate. Given my work overseas and travel restrictions that came with Covid, we continued to rent the small house to a long-term tenant without traveling to California to inspect it. In October 2023, we decided that it was time to sell, yet were still unable to travel. Bill Rippe had sold a similar property in 2018 for my wife’s nephews and done an excellent job, so we contacted him. This was the best decision on our part. In short order, we received a detailed and thorough tutorial on the housing market, pricing, the condition of the property, and the options open to us. The property was in bad shape, in need of clean-up and repair.
