About Bill
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, and came to California in 1978 to pursue my college education at UC Berkeley. I was drawn to Santa Cruz in 1981 by the natural beauty of the mountains and coastline as well as to pursue a graduate degree in Physics at UCSC. Enticed by the computer industry, I left UCSC and worked in marketing communications. Wanting to work more on my own, I began buying fixer homes and reselling them in 1986. I joined Thunderbird Real Estate in 1991 as a licensed agent and have since specialized in land and homes on land. I am also well acquainted with investment property and 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. After working on a multitude of diverse transactions, including short sales and foreclosures these past 32 years, I have seen just about everything and have the experience to anticipate almost anything. Ever since my son Dan joined me, my business has been raised to a whole new level. We are the Franzosa Team, tech-savvy, efficient, and effective.
