When Beth Rudd retired from 20 years of teaching at Hastings High School, she turned her fascination with real estate into a legitimate next chapter! After many years of luring friends up from the city to show them places she felt reflected their needs and wants, Beth has become a licensed real estate agent and joined The Riolo Team at Compass in Hastings-on-Hudson N.Y.
Beth has never ever forgotten how fortunate she is to live in a place she loves. Lucky for her, her parents found Hastings in 1962 and bought the house she grew up in (through Riolo Real Estate) where her 94 year old mother still lives today. And when it was time for her to think about having her own children, it was only natural to return to her home town.
Children grown and two houses later, Beth is still here because she loves where she lives. She has a long history with Hastings, the Rivertowns and widespread connections to the community here that run deep. Because of her teaching career here she has maintained close ties to the school, the faculty, and the parents of school children–some of whom are former students or her own children’s childhood friends. She is very much aware of the issues confronting three different generations moving into and out of Hastings: her parents’, her own and her children’s.
Beth remains committed to promoting diversity, inclusiveness and accessibility in the Rivertowns. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you find not just a home but a place in a community you love as much as she does.
