Ben Faber is a Realtor® who knows his stats—a practice that started right from a childhood spent obsessively collecting, analyzing, and pricing baseball cards. Now he applies his naturally analytic mind to the Marin market to identify trends, patterns, and changing demographics, a practice that keeps him consistently a step ahead. His mantra is to always deliver more value than expected, and interpreting the numbers is only one part of it.

As the founding agent of the Faber Real Estate Team, Ben leads a team dedicated to, quite simply, doing the best thing for each buyer, seller, or investor—every single time. Under his leadership, the team offers sellers a concierge service, drafting and managing a custom market preparation plan for each home that maximizes its value; for buyers and investors, the team draws from its knowledge of off-market listings that often require out-of-the-box dealmaking, quick thinking and of course, a deep understanding of demographics and data. Ben believes in higher standards, quality control, and excellent marketing that makes use of the latest digital tools, and applies those fundamental actions to every transaction he handles.

Born in San Francisco, raised in Larkspur, and educated at UC Santa Barbara, Ben brings a native’s expertise to his role. He’s a proactive problem-solver and a skilled dealmaker who treats every transaction as if it’s his own, passionate about homes, and committed to leveraging his intimate market knowledge for the benefit of his clients. And he’s a Marin homeowner and investor himself, with hands-on knowledge of renovation, design, and architecture, all of which make him an extremely valuable advisor. He knows every inch of Marin, loves the lifestyle—and loves to share those insights, too.

We first worked with Ben while buying our first house in 2014 and were so impressed with his thorough and professional work, that we immediately thought about him when the time came to sell it.
