About Mary Anne
Mary Anne Meyer has 50 years of business and education experience in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley. She was awarded for exceptional sales volume, and she is the past President of the Aspen Board of Realtors. 

As in small towns, one’s reputation speaks for itself. Her reputation says that she takes care of her clients, works well with other real estate brokers, and makes sales happen. 

Her Aspen career has included the ski industry where she served as official organizer of the World Cup in Aspen. She was also Executive Director of the Aspen Winter Club. Today it is the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club. 

Mary Anne has had a successful career as a Colorado teacher at both Glenwood Springs High School and Aspen Middle School, where her focus was Literature, both classic and contemporary, Language Arts and Outdoor Education. She organized and implemented archaeological expeditions and Native American student exchanges. The Colorado state board of education named her Colorado Exemplary Teacher. She is a past member of the Aspen Education Foundation and of the neighboring Basalt Education Foundation, where she co-chaired Major Colin Powell’s America’s Promise satellite seminar,  

Mary Anne currently serves as a member of the Aspen Institute Conferences Services team.
