Having grown up in Buffalo, NY, she fostered an interest in real estate while maintaining a career in kitchen and bath design. During this time, her day-to-day duties gave her an insight into new home construction, layout, architecture, and design, all of which she leverages to her clients' advantage today.

Moving to Raleigh, NC, in 2008, she immersed herself in the community, getting to know the intricacies of the city and its people.
