About Arana
California has always been a part of my life. Growing up in a suburb of San Francisco, I often visited Newport Beach during the summers to explore and spend time at the beach. I also enjoyed exploring Balboa Island and neighboring cities like Laguna Beach, Carlsbad, and San Diego. Although I had many wonderful adventures in the San Francisco Bay Area, I dreamed of eventually living in Orange County by the beach.


To pursue my passion for learning, I attended UCLA for a B.A. in Psychology, M.A. in Architecture and Urban Planning, and Ph.D studies in the same field, with a focus on Social Policy Development. During graduate school in 1972, I co-founded Co-Opportunity, a consumersā€™ cooperative in Santa Monica that is still thriving today. I am also a lifetime member of the UCLA Alumni Association.
After my studies, I began a successful consulting career in technology planning, which took me around the world to develop long-term technology plans. It was during this time that I fell in love with Orange County, and in 2000, I purchased a home in San Clemente.


Although my career was exciting, after traveling internationally and locally for over 20 years, I wanted to be home for the births of my grandchildren. So 25 years ago, I moved to beautiful San Clemente, where I still proudly call home. Active in my community, I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Radiant Health Centers, which serves underserved communities in Orange County with an emphasis on LGBTQIA+ HIV/AIDS prevention.


The through line between all my consulting businesses has been an emphasis on relationship building. That led me to pursue a career in real estate, a dream I'd always had. I build strong and enduring relationships with my clients and everyone involved in a transaction, which helps assure a smooth transaction even when unexpected things arise. Providing the highest level of service to my clients is my top priority.
