About Anthony
Working at an innovative technology company that is disrupting the real estate industry was an easy choice to make for Anthony Espinoza, who joined Compass in 2019.

And I appreciate how good design and innovative technology can, and does, improve our lives more and more each day.ā€ Anthonyā€™s diverse background in commercial real estate, innovative tech, and entrepreneurship help him to identify and negotiate the best deals for his clients.

After acquiring degrees in real estate and finance from SDSU in 2011, Anthony went into commercial real estate for four years. And while that environment did not align with his values or career aspirations, the experience in negotiations, financing, market analysis, investing, and multi-family properties would prove of great value later on. With a love of how technology can make our lives better, Anthony transitioned to work in Silicon Valley for a while, helping to launch the successful delivery service, UBER Eats.  

Feeling the strain and pressure those two intense worlds put on young professionals like himself, Anthony discovered the deep and transformative practice of meditation, which had a profound effect on how he viewed his own place in this world; and how he wanted to show up for, and help, others. ā€œI want to cultivate deep and meaningful relationships with people and help them achieve their goals,ā€ he says. ā€œLearning and practicing meditation allows me to be more present with my clients and really communicate with them and understand their wants and goals.ā€
