I retired as a realtor on the east coast and I thought I knew exactly what I wanted when searching for a realtor to sell my fathers home in CA. I found that and so much more with Andrew. ★★★★★ We were referred to Andrew by a trusted friend. My wife had been offered a last-minute job opportunity which was to start in just a few weeks. However, that job required us to move out of state and we were panicked about the timeline of selling our home in such a short period of time. We had no experience selling a home, as we were living in our first home which we purchased 24 years earlier. We called Andrew and he was available to meet with us at our convenience, which was the next day. He had already done his homework and came prepared with all the information we would need to get started. His presentation was very professional, but at the same time he was “laid-back” and friendly. I can be a bit guarded when meeting people, and am always skeptical of “sales pitches,” however, I could tell right away that Andrew was an ethical person who would work hard on our behalf. We ended up signing with him after our first meeting. Andrew was impressive with his knowledge of the real estate market and was able to present many different avenues of approach to selling our home. He helped us prepare the home for showings, arranged for photographs and 3D walkthroughs, and booked an unbelievable number of showings within a couple days after listing our home. When all was said and done, we had our offer in less than a week after listing it. The offer included allowing us to continue to live in our home for a month after closing escrow, while we worked on purchasing our new home out of state (this was a Godsend). We had some repair work to do on our home before we could sell, and Andrew even helped us facilitate that by referring a contractor (Carlos) who he has worked with many times and trusts to be good in his work and fair in his prices. Andrew stated his goal was to make the experience of selling our home a stress free as possible and that he would be there every step of the way. He more than lived up to that promise. Even after we closed escrow and Andrew had been paid, he still was there helping us out throughout the move. While I was out of town, and my wife was working on zoom calls all day, Andrew came down to the house to escort some contractors for the new owner, so that my wife could continue to work without distractions. "I met Andrew Moore in the latter part of 2018. I had begun renovating my home and was working in the front yard and noticed my neighbor across the street talking with another gentleman. I presumed him to be neighbors realtor as upon his arrival he had made a small adjustment to the “ home for sale” sign out at the curb before walking up the driveway and was dressed in professional attire. He chatted with my neighbor for a few minutes, them removed his jacket rolled up his dhirtskeeves and began helping to load the moving truck parked in the drive. I remember thinking, Now there’s something you don’t see every day, and that image stuck in my mind.
A few days later I saw this realtor showing the home to perspective buyers, when he was finished and on the way to his car he came over to me and introduced himself as Andrew Moore and said that he had noticed I was working on my home and was I thinking about selling it? True to his word as he always is, Andrew did stop by from time to time to check progress, offer advice on current market conditions and generally had a great supportive attitude. He has a great eye for detail and spotted a few things I needed to do that.even I had missed. These tips and his genuine interest in my project were very much appreciated in a very busy time of my life. The fact that he does, what he says he is going to do, every time with no excuses or clever reasons, the fact that he is open and straightforward, and is ready to go “ the extra mile” or simply lend a hand if need be, (or help to load a moving truck if that’s what it takes) this speaks volumes about the mans character.
