About Amy
Amy came to Austin as an anchor/reporter at KVUE, the local ABC television
station. She intended to move on to another job when her contract was up,
but a funny thing happened as she got to know her way around town. She
fell in love - first with the beauty and uniqueness of Austin and then with
her soon-to-be husband. Twenty years later, she still loves showing off her
adopted hometown and connecting buyers with their perfect homes.
As part of The Scott Hayes Team, Amy works with a team that has more than 20 years experience in buying, selling and investing in regional properties. Amy uses her real estate expertise and knowledge of Austin to help guide homebuyers through the detailed buying and selling process.
Amy is also a professional photographer who operated her own business for many years. Her background as a journalist, small business owner and real estate investor combine to hone her attention to detail; ensuring her clients fully understand the process, and full design and functionality of a home. She is a trusted advocate for her clients.
Despite growing up in Newport Beach, CA, she’s now 100% Texan. She plays tennis, golf, hikes and camps through even the hottest Texas summers. Her husband David, whose family owned Crestview Pharmacy in Central Austin for decades, was born and raised in Austin. Together they have three sons, one dog and four chickens.
