About Amy
Amy joined Compass in 2021 after a 15 year career in Sales & Trading at JPMorgan, where she sold Interest Rate Derivatives and Mortgage Backed Securities to Financial Institutions. She rose up the ranks quickly, becoming an Executive Director before 30, and covering some of the largest Banks and REITs in the country such as Bank of America, Invesco, AGNC, & Annaly. Her strong analytical and quantitative skills, along with her expertise in client service, allowed her to form deep, long lasting relationships with top Investment Professionals and Senior Executives.
Concurrently to working in Finance, Amy pursued her life-long passion for Real Estate. At 24 she bought her first NYC apartment, and since then has bought, sold, renovated, and managed single and multi-family properties around Brooklyn (her hometown), Manhattan, and Eastern Long Island. Her background in financial markets, coupled with her own development projects, has given her a keen understanding of the Investment component of real estate.
Amy believes that your purchase should be two-fold: a home that you love and enjoy living in, but also an investment that will retain its value and appreciate over time. She strives to help her clients evaluate properties through both of these lenses. She is a savvy negotiator who prides herself in being aggressive, honest, and knowledgeable. Amy enjoys seeing her clients through from beginning to end - whether it’s helping them renovate their home to list, finding the best financing option, or even helping them decorate their newly purchased property.
Amy graduated with honors from Cornell University. After spending her 20s in lower Manhattan, she returned to Brooklyn with her husband, 2 daughters, and rescue pup Teddy. Amy is extremely passionate about finding her clients the best deals out there, and helping them navigate through this challenging, yet very exciting, process.
