About Alissa

Hello and nice to meet you! I am a former product management executive that is passionate about real estate and investing, deciding to leave the corporate life behind to pursue real estate full-time. Last year I served over 50 clients in real estate transactions, representing over $16M in volume. I believe my down-to-earth personality, hustle and ability to connect with my clients and other agents makes me one of the best in the business, and I hope you think so too. "As a young man in the US navy and a first time homeowner, it was extremely intimidating to go into this process of buying a house. I searched for weeks on Zillow trying to find a suitable house that I would be interested in. I eventually contacted veterans United and initially was paired up with an agent who did not return phone calls, texts, or emails. I considered abandoning the idea but figured I’d give it one more go round. Then I was paired up with a young woman, Alissa Traughber. It was a COMPLETE 180 with this girl. She walked me through every single step of this process extremely professionally, caring, and with huge considerations for my preferences of house viewings and locations. This was my first PCS transfer; I was moving from Hawaii all the way to Chicago and through the many obstacles there are to buy a house without even stepping foot in it from thousands of miles away just shows how must trust I had in Alissa. With this distance came many phone calls and FaceTimes for multiple different homes (some that didn’t work out either but that never slowed her) and a 6 hour time difference! We had many conversations when it was late and just in my opinion, inconveniencing for her because of the hour. Nevertheless her attitude and support never wavered. She even had her own family emergency during this process and still without going into sensitive details, was updating me on my progress and giving me my next step.
