Real Estate Career & Awards
In 2013, Alexia made a career change into real estate. She believes that her business knowledge and negotiation skills she learned while working in Corporate America give her a competitive advantage as a Realtor. She is a strong advocate for her clients and fights to get them the best possible deal she can regardless of whether they are a buyer or a seller. She holds designations in real estate as a Master Certified Negotiation Expert ("MCNE"), a Graduate of the Realtor Institute ("GRI"), and a Seller Representative Specialist ("SRS"), which less than 10% of Texas Realtors hold. Since 2018, she has been selected as a Platinum Top 50 Finalist and/or Winner out of over 20,000+ Realtors in Austin. The PT50 award is based on sales production, community service, charitable donations, and education. In 2018 -2024, she was ranked in the top 5% of the Realtors at her brokerage in terms of closed sales. In each of the past 7 years, she has received the Diamond Club Top Producer Award for sales production over $10+ million. Less than 3% of Austin Realtors earn this recognition. In 2022, she was named to REAL Trends’ America’s Best Real Estate Professionals where she ranks in the Top 1.5% of Realtors in the nation. Professional Organizations
Alexia is a member of the Dripping Springs Elite 25 Real Estate Professionals where she holds a board of director’s position as the Treasurer. She is also a member of the Texas Association of Realtors and the Austin Board of Realtors. She is licensed to sell real estate anywhere in Texas and will often refer clients moving to other states to another Realtor through Realty Austin Compass’s vast network of real estate professionals in other cities across the globe.
Staging and Home Preparation
Alexia's love of homes, architecture, interior design, and the desire to work for herself is what eventually led her into the real estate industry. She grew up in a family of interior designers. She believes that because of her exposure to design, she has a good feel for what a buyer is looking for in a home and what a seller needs to do to prepare their home for market. As such, pre- marketing staging advice is an important part of what she offers to her listing clients.
Family Life & Community Involvement
Alexia met and married her husband, Eddie, in 2004, and they now have three teenagers – Olivia, Grant and Ava. She lives in Southwest Austin on the outskirts of Dripping Springs in a master- planned community called Belterra. She is devoted to the community where she lives. She volunteers her spare time and donates 10% of her income to many Austin area charities, including Habitat for Humanity, Foundation Communities, The Safe Alliance, Young Men’s Service League, Give Amore, Meals on Wheels, Foster Village, Compassion International, the Dripping Springs Education Foundation, and her home church, Austin Ridge Bible Church. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and can often be found running the hike and bike trails in her neighborhood or running local races around town with her husband and kids.
