About Alexa
"Buying or selling real estate should be clear, creative and, hopefully, fun."
In 2020, Alexa Lambert was ranked the number one residential broker in the United States by The Wall Street Journal/Real Trends. In both 2018 and 2017 The Wall Street Journal/Real Trends ranked Alexa the number one broker in New York City.
A broker at Stribling & Associates for over 25 years before it was purchased by Compass, Alexa sells some of the most expensive and prestigious properties in Manhattan, but her expertise extends across all rhoods and property types, giving her a unique ability to present her clients with specific information as well as accurate, real-time market overviews and analyzed data. Among her recent sales are a $19 million Fifth Avenue co-op, a Central Park West penthouse for over $15 million, a downtown townhouse for close to $30 million, a condominium on the Upper East Side for over $14 million and a townhouse on the Upper East side for over $10 million.
Although she has participated in some of Manhattan's most expensive and prestigious sales, Alexa has customers and properties in varied price ranges, both uptown and downtown. Alexa's client list includes celebrities and entertainment executives, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, partners from most of the major investment banks, real estate executives and foreign buyers.
In addition to working with individual buyers and sellers, Alexa has also used the negotiating and marketing skills she first learned at the William Morris Agency in their mailroom training program to work with developers on some of Manhattan’s most successful and respected development projects, uptown and downtown.
The Real Estate Board of New York has recognized Alexa's excellence as well as her willingness to share her knowledge with other brokers. She has taught 3 sessions of their highest-level class, offered only to top residential brokers in the city. She is also regularly quoted in the press.
Alexa grew up in New York City and attended the Spence School and Brown University. She lives on the Upper East Side with her husband and two children.
My Approach
"Patience, perspective, integrity, a sense of humor and the ability to analyze data with context are the most important qualities of a good broker. Residential real estate transactions can be stressful for many reasons and one of a broker's most important roles is to listen to what people need and keep things calm.”
