Miami native Alan Philipson has been serving clients for 30 years, following his graduation from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in 1991. He has built a distinguished reputation in the luxury housing sector, known for his knowledge, expertise, and unwavering commitment to his clients. Over the years, Alan has worked with professional athletes, entertainers, and high-net-worth individuals, earning recognition for his dedication to protecting his clients’ interests—both legally and financially. His reputation for integrity and loyalty has been reciprocated by a loyal clientele.
Alan comes from a family deeply rooted in real estate. His grandfather, former Miami Beach Mayor Harold Turk (1949–1951), was a Miami-Dade County Commissioner and real estate attorney who played a key role in negotiating the sale of Vizcaya from the Deering family to the county in 1952. His great aunt and uncle, Rose and Robert Schwartz, developed the Delano Hotel, which, upon its completion in 1947, stood as Miami’s tallest building, surpassing the Freedom Tower. His uncle, South Florida real estate attorney Phil Coller, came from a family that owned the Gale Hotel, located across from historic Collins Avenue, until its sale in 1967.
Growing up in this environment gave Alan a unique perspective on the industry from an early age. After earning his real estate license in 1993, he joined some of the top real estate firms, quickly establishing himself as a problem solver. Leveraging his lifelong connections in the South Florida community, Alan became a trusted resource—connecting attorneys, accountants, subcontractors, and tradesmen who could proactively address costly and potentially dangerous construction issues. His approach significantly reduced stress for his clients and ensured smooth, timely closings.
During the 2008 housing collapse, Alan collaborated with accountants, attorneys, and other financial professionals to help clients—both residential and commercial—mitigate losses and financial exposure in real estate-backed asset classes. His dedication has earned him numerous awards and accolades, including recognition as a top producer and membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Club.
