Serving clients as a realtor has been one of the most fulfilling achievements in my life. When I made the decision to become a realtor in 2012, it came from a desire to assist families in realizing their dream of homeownership. However, my goal as a realtor has expanded to serve a greater purpose.
As I grew in my profession, I immediately recognized the work needed to elevate the integrity of our profession. There is a difference between a licensed realtor and a realtor you would recommend to a friend. The difference speaks to one’s attitude towards their work, the extent to which they serve their clients, and the way they treat all the people involved in the process. Purchasing a new home or selling one is one of the largest transactions one makes in their life, and the role of a realtor in that transaction is much more than just showing available properties to clients or placing the property on the MLS. A realtor is a resource to their clients—always available, always honest, always putting them first.
At the inception of KBRG, I set out to set the standard for service in real estate. I made a pledge to myself to be a servant-leader to my team. A pledge to build a prideful, honest, compassionate, and knowledgeable team. A team that exceeds expectations by truly getting to know what their clients are looking for, and a team that has integrity and respect in all things.
I set out to be the most reputable real estate group in Northwest Indiana, not just from the viewpoint of our industry and peers, but more importantly from the viewpoint of the clients we serve. The clients that depend on us when they are making those big decisions. Guiding our clients through every step in the process, giving honest information, and providing reliable experts for their home repairs; these things make a difference. This practice is the only way I can maintain my commitment to myself to have a lasting positive impact in the real estate industry.
My husband Andrew and I were both born and raised in NWI. Our families have lived here for generations, and we are deeply rooted in our community. Throughout the years, we have developed many rewarding professional and personal relationships that we couldn’t be more grateful for, including that of our clients. Our most loyal clients, who have bought, sold, invested, and referred to us, span over a decade. This is assurance I am serving in my purpose. As a woman of faith there is a golden rule I live by—to treat others as you wish to be treated—and it has proved to lead me down my chosen path with more reward than I ever could have prayed for.
