Monsoon rains, howling coyotes, saloon brawls, and the “Queen of the Copper mines.” Amy was born and raised in Southern Arizona in the wild west ghost town of Bisbee. Her childhood was filled with geology, physics and math from her father, a local college professor and museum curator. Her mother — born and raised in Sonora, Mexico — influenced her life with art, culture, food, family, and the importance of what makes a home.
Amy obtained her BA in Media Arts at the University of Arizona. After which, she moved to Los Angeles to work at MTV for six years in video archive preservation and production accounting. While at MTV, she entered the commercial world and enthusiastically started working as a commercial actress and hand model. Amy became the first female hand model for Apple International and worked for four years under the inspiring tutelage of Steve Jobs.
During her tenure at Apple, Amy was introduced to the world of set design and quickly fell in love with designing interiors. With New York City as her beloved and adopted home for the past decade, Amy applies her passion and design-eye expertise to transform spaces into havens and areas of inspiration for domestic and professional use. This, and running her own personal property management, has laid a solid foundation for Amy’s insight into what it can mean and feel to call NYC home. She understands the anticipated excitement of creating memories in a new place, the importance of the way you feel when you first step into a space and how it can inspire and compliment your vision of “where you hang your hat.”
Amy has a genuine love for the process of change, which accompanies the buying and selling of a home. With her insight, communication, compassion, and commitment, Amy provides her clients the best possible experience when finding a space to call home or selling a treasured home in what becomes another chapter in life.
