"Our experience of buying a house with Laura’s guidance was great! Her knowledge and tenacity helped us find the home we wanted. We look forward to working with Laura again soon when we list our existing home!"

"Laura was incredibly easy to work with. Open, honest, easy to talk to. As a first time home buyer, I had countless questions and she was both patient and responsive. She was extremely accommodating during the search process, showing me many homes and discussing with me. When the time came to put an offer out, she helped negotiate down the price of my first home considerably. Even after buying the home, she happily answered occasional questions. Overall it was enjoyable working with her and I'm very grateful for her service."

"A reliable writer like Laura Kingsbury is hard to find. Not only is Laura an excellent writer, but she takes initiative in generating assignments, overcomes obstacles and always meets deadlines. Working with her made my job so much easier."

"Laura was incredibly helpful in the journey of buying my first home. She was always available to answer any questions about the properties I was considering or the buying process. If she doesn't immediately know the answer to a question, she knew who to talk to to find out. She was very honest about the properties we visited and didn't try to sugarcoat issues. She is great at negotiating and handled a lot of back and forth with the seller's agent. I would highly recommend Laura if you need a real estate agent in the Pittsburgh area!"

"Laura was wonderful to work with! She was so professional, personable, and knowledgeable with real estate. Laura was well versed in the entire Pittsburgh area, and has done her research in communities, crime, populations, businesses, etc. Laura worked diligently with me for over a year, she was patient and kind while I went back and fourth with deciding if a condo or house was the best fit for me. She worked around the clock, always available to answer my many calls/texts/emails, and had the answers or found them every time! Laura was such a pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy - she made a stressful decision that much more enjoyable! Since buying, Laura continues to check-in to offer continued support as she genuinely wishes me happiness in my house that has since become a home. Again - I can’t express how great Laura was to work with and I highly recommend to anyone/everyone! :)"
Laura came to New City with a background in writing, marketing and real estate brokerage management both for a small boutique agency in Boston and the Keller Williams Pittsburgh East franchise in Shadyside. After years of learning the business inside and out, she joined the New City team first on a marketing level and later in sales. The desire to do things a little differently, get immersed in every development from start to finish, and understand what buyers want, attracted to her to New City.
A Pittsburgh native, Laura applies her love of Pittsburgh’s diverse neighborhoods, knowledge of each local market, and a strong desire to truly connect with each and every buyer to find them the perfect primary residence, second home or investment property. With a fine-tuned attention to detail, she can help you find what best suits your needs either out of our list of inventory or anything on the market. Her approach, while termed “sales,” is less about sales and more about providing information, developing solid relationships, and advising each client on the best decision for them.
