Hello and welcome to my page and to the busy and exciting world of Real Estate! I love being a realtor in Colorado because Colorado and the people that live here are amazing!
My family moved to Colorado when I was very young. Being raised in Boulder was great (Go Panthers!). And even though I said I would move back to Minnesota as soon as I was old enough, Colorado took hold and I have never looked back! My husband and I have raised our family here and are grateful that each one has decided to stay near and raise their families.
I wasn't always a realtor. I was in healthcare and was an NICU RN for more that twenty years with the majority of that time spent at Avista Hospital in Louisville. During my nursing career, I was a Case manager, educator, earned my doctorate in psychology at CU Boulder (Go Buffs!), led process improvement teams for UCHealth medical residents and watched Corporate healthcare change a lot during that time. Unfortunately it became more about the dollar and less about the patients. A career change was eminent and in reviewing my options I knew that I wanted to help people and do it without someone else telling me what to do!!
Becoming a realtor made great sense. Having a lot of real estate transactions under my belt, knowing how to put people first, and being willing to work hard, becoming a realtor was a no brainer! My love and enthusiasm for Colorado and the people who live here fuels my drive to help my clients find the right home and right neighborhood for them.
I love to educate people on home buying, help them understand options that are available to them, especially when they believe they can't buy a home. I'm a firm believer in dreaming big!
